DEFINITION OF YANTRA
Yantra literally means "instrument". A Yantra is a geometric design acting as a highly efficient tool for contemplation, concentration and meditation. Yantras carry spiritual significance, and point the user to higher levels of consciousness. The Yantra provides a focal point that is a window into the absolute. When the mind is concentrated on a single, simple object (in this case a Yantra), the mental chatter ceases. Eventually, the object is dropped when the mind can remain empty and silent without help. In the most advanced phases, it is possible to attain union with God by the geometric visualization of a Yantra.

The Yantra is like a microcosmic picture of the macrocosm. It is a focusing point and an outer and inner doorway. The Yantras are often focused on a specific deity and so by tuning into the different Yantras you can tap into certain deities or creative force centers in the universe.

Energizing or Sanitizing Yantra is most important process in Yantra remedy. The Pooja is done in accordance with the rules and regulations mentioned in the Shastras. When this circle is elevated it stands as a symbol of Sumeru Mountain balancing the whole universe and it contains of all the worlds situated in the Sumeru Mountain, as described in Puranas. It is called "Meru Prastha Shree Yantra" and is the best of all. Shri Yantra is the worshipping place of the form of the super goddess, Mahatripur Sundari. It is Her divine abode. All the gods and goddesses are worshipped in it and all other religious adorations are done here. It includes all the conducts, all the learning and all the elements. The rightful person of all sects, castes and creeds can believe in it as the religious practitioners and priests. This is the finest form of shri yantra. Navratri is the best time to make shri yantra.

METHOD OF PUJA

Any shri yantra once made by vedic priest can be brought home. It is advisable to do regular puja by the owner.
• Do abhishek of yantra with water, yogurt,milk and honey
• Wash with plain water
• Apply Tilak of chandan
• While ths process chant the laxmi mantra or shri suktam mantra
